Between freedom, livability, safety and securitization
Take part in “Match Co-create” in May and join in for two cross-disciplinary innovation workshops that can expand your business area and network
Urban public space is scarce and must fulfill multiple needs being both veins of infrastructure, recreational areas and climate adaptive surfaces, and therefor planners and architects are always integrating a large amount of demands into the design. Recently a new type of urban fixture has found its way to streets and squares, with potential to strengthen Copenhagens image as ‘most livable’ or threaten it. Anti-terror architecture has become a reality in most big cities, and the landscape architect firm Schønherr wants to explore how security can support a more livable city, with more climate adaptation and good recreational facilities.
Initiated by Schønherr we will debate some of the questions that arise regarding terrorism when architects, developers and authorities plan and design urban space. We will focus on both physical and technical solutions and on how we can support the livable and open city while providing greater security.
The ambition is, as always, to create partnerships that can expand the business of the participating companies by developing better solutions for the built environment.
Want to join in?
Together with Schønherr we invite companies and organizations which work with urban space, technology or other relevant fields to take part in two workshops on the 8th and 9th of May in Copenhagen. Participation is free of charge, but all participants must attend both workshops.
Please note that there are limited seats available, and that the team will be put together with respect to competencies and interplay with other participants to address the full scope of the innovation potential. You can apply for participation by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
The Match -Co-create event is being held at BLOXHUB Kyoto at the 8th and 9th of May.
