How can the City of Copenhagen support design- and construction companies in becoming more circular?

January 24, 2018 @ 08:45 - 12:00

Circular Economy Workshop: How can the City of Copenhagen support design and construction companies in becoming more circular?

NOTE! This event is held in Danish and for design and construction companies only.

The City of Copenhagen is currently developing initiatives for the future circular city. In relation to this, they invite to the workshop, with the desire to find new ways and initiatives that the municipality can take – either alone or in collaboration – that can support a restructuring process towards a circular economy.

In other words, this is the opportunity to give input to the City of Copenhagen about how the city can support circular businesses without compromising on aesthetics and design. Is it a question of demand in the municipality’s procurement? Should it be possible for the city’s recycling centres to collect their products and return them? Should it be easier to buy recycled materials for new products? What wishes, needs and ideas do you have?

The focus on the workshop will be on:

  • New business models
  • Repairing options
  • Return arrangements
  • Recycled materials
  • What is the ideal collaboration with the municipality?
