H2OPENHAGEN – the blue city

September 2, 2017 @ 13:00 - 14:30

Water is an attractive and limited resource. We cannot live without it. But at the same time it is a huge threat:  Extreme rainfalls deluge our streets and overwhelm our drainage systems, resulting in costly clean-ups while the sea level is rising and threatening to flood our cities.

How do we live with the water as our neighbour, and how can we re-think the neighbourship in sustainable ways? Torben Klitgaard, director in BLOXHUB, will be your host when we discuss the role of water in future Copenhagen: From the importance of water in urban spaces to climate adaptation and grilled jellyfish.

Meet among others the food performer Augusta Sørensen, Founder & General Manager at Sanitov Studio Alexander Høst, climate expert at COWI Arne Bernt Hasling, ph.d. Morten Krogh Petersen from Gemeinschaft and Anna Kerr, Head of International Business Development/ Co Director, White Architects and Mikkel A. Thomassen; Partner in Smith Innovation.

Time and place:
September 2, 13:00-14:30 at BLOXHUB, Fæstningens Materialgård, Frederiksholms Kanal 30. Free. Limited spaces. Sign-up necessary here.

The event is part of the Golden Days Festival
