DESCRIPTION:Join us as we unveil Denmark’s first Biodiversity Tactic guiding urban actors to understand and enhance biodiversity in urban landscapes. \nBased on three years of meticulous PhD research\, Lotte Nystrup Lund’s book “BiodiversitetsTaktik” has been crafted in collaboration with various stakeholders\, ranging from biologists and architects to protesting citizens and international researchers. \nAt this event\, Lotte Nystrup Lund will introduce her work and unveil key insights on the topics of biodiversity and urban development. \nJoining her will be distinguished guests\, Agronomist Hanne Gundersen\, delving into the realm of soil and microorganisms\, and Urban Development Manager Rita Justesen\, reflecting on biodiversity in urban development. \nFilled with illustrative photos from around the world and beautifully illustrated by designer Maria Hagerup\, BiodiversitetsTaktik promises to explore a myriad of topics\, including: \n\nAn exploration of biodiversity and ecosystems\nUnderstanding Danes views on ‘nature’ and ‘biodiversity’\nTen compelling reasons to integrate biodiversity into urban development\nUnlocking the potential of cities as habitats for diverse species and ecosystem contributors\nA comprehensive overview of nine  essential biodiversity themes\n\nAll attendees will receive a complimentary link to an online version of “BiodiversitetsTaktik.” A limited number of printed copies will be available for those desiring a tangible keepsake\, generously provided with support from Realdania. \nNetworking and refreshments follow the dialogue. \nPlease note that the book and the event are in Danish. \nLocation: BLOXHUB\, Los Angeles  in Fæstningen Materialgård (the yellow building)\, Bryghuspladsen\, København K \nSupported by Innovation Fund Denmark\, Realdania\, and By & Havn\, “BiodiversitetsTaktik” is part of Lotte Nystrup Lund’s PhD project named “Biocities of the Future” conducted in collaboration with the Institute of Architecture\, Urbanism and Landscape at the Royal Danish Academy and By & Havn. \nSign up link below:
