SUMMARY:Webinar: How Do You Co-Create a Local Community with the Power to Transform?
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to launch the Irresistible Cities Lab — a new initiative dedicated to exploring how cities can be shaped through collective action and local empowerment. In this first webinar\, we invite you to dive into an inspiring story from Amsterdam\, where partners have been working with residents to transform their neighborhood from the ground up. \nIn Amsterdam’s Wildeman neighborhood\, two local NGOs have partnered with residents to forge a new path for urban transformation. This initiative is driven by a bottom-up approach\, empowering community members to find their voice and actively participate in meetings with city officials and professional stakeholders. Through this process\, the neighborhood is shaping its own identity\, fostering trust among residents and strengthening connections with the broader community. \nThis webinar will explore the journey of the past two years working with Design & Do Groups — a collaborative model that turns ideas into action. Their experience offers valuable insights and inspiration for sparking transformation in your own community. \nThe session will feature a mix of presentations and discussions. Meet Sustainist & Civic Designer Diana Krabbendam (The Beach)\, Social Designer Rosalie Bak (Samenwonen-Samenleven)\, and more\, as they share their perspectives and experiences. \nNo registration required—simply join us via this link. \nMore on our new Irresistable Cities Lab here. \nContact Aase Højlund Nielsen for more info.

SUMMARY:Inner Development Goals Learning Lab: Acting
DESCRIPTION:The Inner Development Goals (IDG) offer a framework of five dimensions and 23 inner qualities to support sustainable development. BLOXHUB\, in collaboration with the IDG Copenhagen Leadership Development Hub\, invites you to join a series of learning labs. These sessions will allow you to delve into the Inner Development Goals and discover how to incorporate these inner qualities into your daily life and work. \nLearning Lab Schedule: \n\n14th November\, 16.00 – 18.00: Being\n3rd December\, 16.00 – 18.00: Thinking\n13th January\, 16.00 – 18.00: Relating\n19th February\, 16.00 – 18.00: Collaborating\n17th March\, 16.00 – 18.00: Acting\n\nThese learning labs\, co-hosted by BLOXHUB and the IDG Copenhagen Leadership Development Hub—a team of experienced professionals connecting inner and outer sustainability—offer a blend of inspirational insights\, practical exercises\, gamification\, dialogue\, and reflection. \nThe history behind the Inner Development Goals \nIn 2015\, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) gave us a comprehensive plan for a sustainable world by 2030. \nAlthough we have accumulated much knowledge about the climate crisis\, poverty\, public health\, and other social ills communicated in the SDGs\, we seem to lack the inner capacity to deal with our increasingly complex environment and challenges. \nWhat has been largely missing from current strategies is a keen insight into which abilities\, qualities or skills we need to develop among individuals\, groups and organisations that play crucial roles in working to fulfil the SDGs. \nFortunately\, modern research shows that the inner abilities we require to complement and accelerate our external approaches can be developed. This was the starting point for the Inner Development Goals (IDG) initiative. \nOver a number of years\, many different stakeholderes set out on a learning journey together. On 12th of May 2021 the IDG framework\, co-created by 1000+ scientists\, experts and HR & Sustainability professionals was made available open source for the world. \nThe Inner Development Goals is a not-for-profit and open-source initiative. The initiative is acknowledged by the UN as a substantial contribution to delivering on the Sustainable Development Goals and sustainable development more broadly.  (Source: Inner Development Goals). \nSign up here: Link

SUMMARY:Inner Development Goals Learning Lab: Thinking
DESCRIPTION:The Inner Development Goals (IDG) offer a framework of five dimensions and 23 inner qualities to support sustainable development. BLOXHUB\, in collaboration with the IDG Copenhagen Leadership Development Hub\, invites you to join a series of learning labs. These sessions will allow you to delve into the Inner Development Goals and discover how to incorporate these inner qualities into your daily life and work. \nLearning Lab Schedule: \n\n14th November\, 16.00 – 18.00: Being\n3rd December\, 16.00 – 18.00: Thinking\n13th January\, 16.00 – 18.00: Relating\n4th February\, 16.00 – 18.00: Collaborating\n6th March\, 16.00 – 18.00: Acting\n\nThese learning labs\, co-hosted by BLOXHUB and the IDG Copenhagen Leadership Development Hub—a team of experienced professionals connecting inner and outer sustainability—offer a blend of inspirational insights\, practical exercises\, gamification\, dialogue\, and reflection. \nThe history behind the Inner Development Goals \nIn 2015\, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) gave us a comprehensive plan for a sustainable world by 2030. Although we have accumulated much knowledge about the climate crisis\, poverty\, public health\, and other social ills communicated in the SDGs\, we seem to lack the inner capacity to deal with our increasingly complex environment and challenges.
