SUMMARY:Design Sprint 2024 - In collaboration with The Royal Academy
DESCRIPTION:Does your company need help tackling a design challenge? All members now have the opportunity to work with students from the Royal Danish Academy\, who\, for a five-day design sprint\, will work on your challenge. The event is done in collaboration with the Royal Danish Academy’s Institute for Architecture and Design (IBD). \nThis sprint offers a unique opportunity to advance your company’s sustainability agenda while mentoring the next generation of architects and designers. \nThis initiative will engage master students from four programs: Strategic Design & Entrepreneurship\, Fashion\, Clothing and Textiles\, Furniture Design\, and Spatial Design. \nWe invite you to propose design challenges that align with your company’s objectives and the theme of sustainability. These challenges include architecture\, design\, materials\, innovation\, environment\, social impact\, technical aspects\, political dynamics\, and business strategies. Through this collaboration\, we aim to develop innovative solutions that address complex societal\, environmental\, and economic factors. \nPossible challenge examples include: \n\nEntering a new market\nDesigning within local and planetary limits\nDeveloping new techniques or methodologies\nInnovating with new materials\nUtilizing existing material stock\nCreating regenerative environments\nPromoting inclusivity\, diversity\, and social justice\n\nThe Academy’s faculty will review and refine your proposed challenges to ensure they meet the program’s objectives. \nTo participate we need your Challenge Proposal by 15 June 2024. \nWhat else do you need to do? \n\n On September 9\, we will kick off the workshop by announcing the challenge. You will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the student’s work and results on September 13.
