The series will cover three important topics: Traversing Smart City Data\, Nature-Based Solutions\, and Harnessing Living Cells for Construction Materials. Led by the Urban Partnerships team\, each roundtable will offer insights from a BLOXHUB expert in the featured topic\, and provide an opportunity for participants to actively explore challenges\, opportunities\, and innovative strategies related to the topics. \nThe Benefits of Nature-Based Solutions \nJoin us for a discussion on how nature-based solutions can help cities to become carbon-neutral\, nature-positive\, and human wellbeing-driven. \nWith COP28 on the horizon\, a central focus will be on acknowledging nature as a cornerstone of climate action\, especially concerning CO2 reduction.  \n Nature-based solutions can potentially mitigate up to 25% of CO2 emissions in urban areas. This underscores the critical need for global political attention and emphasizes the importance of these solutions in achieving the ambitious targets outlined in the Paris Agreement\, thereby positively impacting our communities\, economy\, and overall wellbeing. \n Mike Ameko Lippert\, Strategy Director at SLA\, will kick-start the discussion with an introduction to a nature-based approach to urban design.
