There are more and more of us in the cities and limited space is very often a challenge. The group of citizens that share the city’s space is diverse, there are so many wishes and dreams, and yet so much space is designed for one purpose only. Creating space for children in dense cities is often a tricky task and we need innovative solutions to make our cities child friendly. How can Danish and Chinese companies support each other in this regard?
At this Roundtable, we will discuss and share knowledge and ideas on: How can we design space for children that can be used by other groups of users in Denmark and China? Overall, we will discuss how building several functionalities into one space can solve the urban space challenge, and playgrounds are just an example.
