Want to join the BLOXHUB team?

Student Assistant – International Delegations & Partnerships

At BLOXHUB, we connect people, ideas, and solutions to create better cities for the future. Each year, we host more than 100 international delegations, offering insight into Nordic urban development and connecting them with our growing global network. We’re now looking for a proactive and organised student assistant to help us deliver valuable experiences for our international guests and partners.

What you’ll do

You’ll become a member of our international team, working closely with colleagues, municipal authorities, international organisations, universities, embassies, and businesses. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating international delegations: From arrival to departure – arranging venues, planning programmes, liaising with speakers, and ensuring smooth execution on the day.
  • Communications & partner engagement: Managing contact with partners, companies, and organisations; sharing agendas and materials; and following up after visits.
  • Networking & partnerships: Supporting our ambassador network and international partnerships, including our role in Urban Hub Europe (UHE).
  • Finance & administration: Gathering invoicing details and ensuring correct billing with our finance team.
  • Ad-hoc project support in accordance with demand, interests and relevant competencies.

Who we’re looking for

You’re currently studying in a relevant field – such as urban development, communication, international studies, social sciences, public administration, or business – but your exact area isn’t as important as your passion for international collaboration and sustainable cities.

We think you’ll thrive here if you:

  • Have excellent English skills – both written and spoken. Professional-level proficiency in Danish is an advantage
  • Are organised, responsible, and able to keep track of multiple tasks at once
  • Enjoy both hands-on event coordination and building strong professional relationships
  • Are service-minded and comfortable working with people from different backgrounds
  • Take initiative, work independently, and find solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Have at least 2 years remaining of your studies

What we offer

  • A meaningful student job in an international setting in the heart of Copenhagen
  • A strong professional network within sustainable urban development
  • Independence and real responsibility from day one
  • Collaboration with experienced colleagues and supportive leadership
  • Flexibility around exams and studies
  • Opportunities to present and engage with international delegations

Working hours: ~15–20 hours/week
