A new guide, The Building Playbook: An Owner´s and Solution Provider´s Guide for Low Carbon Retrofit, has officially launched. It offers valuable resources for tackling the challenges of energy retrofitting in buildings. Developed in collaboration with Austin Energy, Danish Industry, BLOXHUB, the Danish Energy Agency, and 3XN/GXN, the playbook draws from two intensive workshops held in Austin, where city representatives, local stakeholders, and Danish experts joined forces.
Focusing on commercial buildings and schools, the guide takes a holistic approach to decarbonization, balancing technical, social, and economic considerations. Inside, readers will find nine practical guidelines, real-world examples, and tools to reduce operational costs and CO2 emissions through innovative energy solutions.
The Building Playbook offers a path to energy efficiency by highlighting successful strategies from Danish companies, paving the way for a more sustainable future.
