Together with NJORD, BLOXHUB invites you to a workshop on biophilic design – a method, whose fundamental aim is to create good habitats by promoting connectivity between humans and our natural environment. Biophilic design can thus be an effective intervention to improve our health.
But how do we translate the available evidence-based research into urban designs that actually work? The effectiveness of biophilic design depends on interventions that are connected, complementary, and integrated into the built environment rather than isolated or transient interventions.
At the workshop, we will work on identifying measures for a more holistic adaptation of the biophilic method in our buildings and cities and discuss what measures are needed to create a symbiosis between it available knowledge/research and our urban design solutions.
