Copenhagen Masterclass: Leading Urban Transformation

August 18 - August 22

Join us in August for the first edition of Copenhagen Masterclass — a five-day learning experience for senior urban professionals and decision-makers working to accelerate liveability, resilience and innovation in cities.

The programme offers strategic insights, peer exchange and hands-on tools. Through keynotes, workshops, and guided field visits, participants will explore how to drive cross-sectoral change and translate Copenhagen’s practices into new local contexts.

Key themes:

    1. Innovation & Competitiveness – How cities can foster cross-sector innovation
    2. Resilience & Systems Thinking – Adaptive planning, urban metabolism, and infrastructure
    3. Social Cohesion & Urban Regeneration – Using the Urban Doughnut for place-based development

Programme highlights:

      • Daily sessions blending fieldwork, dialogue and design
      • Insights from leading practitioners and city officials
      • Visits to key districts across Copenhagen
      • No course fee for this 2025 pilot edition

The masterclass is hosted by BLOXHUB and developed with leading researchers, practitioners and public institutions such as The City of Copenhagen, Aalborg University, Cobe, Urban Partners, Rambøll and The Royal Danish Academy.
