Planet-Centered Cities & Design Futures: From Human-Centered to Life-Centered (5th Gathering)

In this final session of Regenerative Resources, we zoom out to the systems level – urban life, infrastructure and the future of cities. Human-centered design has driven important innovation, yet often at the expense of ecosystems and future generations. Together we explore a core question: How do we move toward life-centered cities that operate within planetary boundaries, honor bioregional identities, and build resilience in a rapidly changing world? We explore emerging models for regenerative urban development – cities understood as living organisms, capable of nurturing both people and planet.
