BLOXHUB is proud to announce a new partnership with the Aarhus Centre for Regenerative Building, marking an important step in advancing the regenerative agenda in Denmark and beyond.
This collaboration is about more than just shared ambitions – it’s about creating a stronger platform where knowledge, research, and practice can come together. By connecting our communities, we aim to accelerate innovation in regenerative urban development and building practices.
“At BLOXHUB, we’ve been eagerly waiting to share this collaboration,” says BLOXHUB CEO, Torben Klitgaard. “The future calls for regenerative transformations at an urban level and across society at large. Both Aarhus Centre for Regenerative Building and BLOXHUB are tuned in on the regenerative agenda, and it makes perfect sense that we together will be able to push this agenda even further.”
As part of the partnership, members will now gain access to each other’s co-working spaces. This means more opportunities to meet face-to-face, share insights, and start projects that can help define and drive regenerative building in practice.
“We are delighted to join forces with BLOXHUB,” says Professor Mikkel K. Kragh, Head of Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering at Aarhus University and Co-Founder of Aarhus Centre for Regenerative Building. “Aarhus Centre for Regenerative Building was founded two years ago and we are building momentum, maintaining a cross-disciplinary perspective and engaging practitioners and researchers across the sector. A partnership with BLOXHUB is a logical step, which I expect will broaden the community, extend our reach, and strengthen our impact.”
Together, BLOXHUB and Aarhus Centre for Regenerative Building want to demonstrate how urban development can go beyond sustainability and actively give back to nature, climate, and communities—both in Denmark and internationally.
