We’re excited to announce that Ditte Deigaard is joining the BLOXHUB team as the new Program Manager for Urban Partnerships. Ditte will drive the transformation of the built environment with a focus on sustainability, well-being, and bio-based materials. Her approach highlights nature’s role in urban development and advocates for regenerative solutions, including circularity and community-driven spaces.
Ditte has been a BLOXHUB member for the past five years and has already co-hosted workshops with us. Collaborating closely with Program Director Lotte C. Breegaard, Ditte will lead the development of our workshop formats. By engaging with industry stakeholders, members, and the broader program team, Ditte will help tackle some of the sector’s most pressing challenges.
With over 12 years of experience as an independent consultant, Ditte brings deep expertise in sustainable business development and organizational transformation. She has led impactful projects across both private and public sectors, building partnerships that deliver value for people, the environment, and businesses alike.
We met with Ditte to learn more about her background and her vision.
Q: What is your background, and what position are you coming from?
A: I’ve been an independent consultant since 2012, helping drive strategic change and transformation both nationally and internationally. My focus has been on turning visions into tangible value for people, the environment, and businesses. I began my career at PwC and IBM, working in consulting, communications, and change management, before moving to DR, where I focused on organizational and leadership development. As a consultant, I’ve worked on sustainability, strategic change and transformation programs, and building networks and partnerships to increase impact.
Q: What new initiatives can we expect with you on board?
A: There are already many great initiatives underway, and I’m excited to dive in and contribute. I’m passionate about helping both people, environments and businesses thrive. I’m hoping to bring nature further into our work at BLOXHUB and focus on regenerative development – whether it’s through circularity, community-driven urban spaces, the sharing economy, or sustainable urban environments and architecture inspired by nature.
Q: What are you most looking forward to working on?
A: My main focus will be creating impact by bringing together stakeholders to address shared challenges and opportunities in the built environment. Building networks and partnerships comes naturally to me, and I’m excited to unite people and ideas at BLOXHUB to drive sustainable change for the benefit of individuals, the environment, and society.
A warm welcome to Ditte Deigaard—we’re thrilled to have her onboard and can’t wait to see her contributions to the team.
