Our work with bridging science and practice is quality assured by a carefully selected advisory board. They represent a wide range of key players from the worlds of business and research with a broad strategic insight into sustainable urban development and how to ensure collaboration across research, innovation and practice.
The role of the advisory board
The members of Science Forum’s Advisory Board are some of the leading representatives of the worlds of business and research who each in their own way work with promoting sustainable urbanization. In order to maintain a high level of quality in Science Forum’s activities, the board functions as an expert panel offering sparring and inspiration. They also act as ambassadors for the Science Forum mission by opening doors to new collaborations across research, practice, disciplines and national borders.
Innovation happens through collaboration
“The construction industry has a crucial impact on the environment, and the potential is great for a more sustainable development. Through research we make it visible and measurable, so we can act on it. Innovation always happens through collaboration. In fact, Science Forum’s interdisciplinary industrial research environment leverages GXN’s research by a factor of 10 by facilitating and aligning everyone’s research.”
